Position Summary
The Manufacturing Assembler team member is responsible for supporting manufacturing and production operations through the assembly, inspection, packaging, and movement of products and materials. This role works collaboratively with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to work
instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality
standards and specifications.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervisors
or team leads.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
• Maintain accurate production records, logs, and documentation as required.
• Follow established manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and
safety guidelines.
• Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and workstation organization.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity,
and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with
company policies.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve
production objectives.
• Participate in and follow lean manufacturing methodologies and manufacturing
practices
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, production, distribution, or
industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
